Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center in the presence of his loving family on Thursday, October 4, 2012, Johnny O’Connell in his 64th year of Holyrood. Predeceased by his father & mother John & Ellen O’Connell, brother Thomas, & step-son Gerard Kennedy. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife and best friend of 20 years, Patricia (nee Doran); sister Margie (Albert Dalton); step-children: Richard & Susan Kennedy, Sean & Sharon Kennedy, Noella Kennedy & John Veitch; beloved nieces: Melissa Dalton, Coleen Walsh (Paddy), Geralyn Adams & Shirley Terry (William); nephews: Albert Dalton (Lynette), John Dalton (Kristie) & Wayne O’Connell (Suzzette); step-grandchildren: Jason, Alex, Matthew & Dylan Kennedy, Brad & Jason Mercer, Olivia, Noah & Brandon Kennedy and a large circle of extended family & friends, especially the Doran & Dalton families. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Saturday & Sunday from 2 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood.
