Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Oct. 6, 2012, aged 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, parents: Patrick and Mary Howlett, parents-in-law: Nicholas and Annie Ryan, sisters: Agnes, Kit, and Rita, brothers: Stan, Phillip and Victor, son-in-law: Freddie Scott and brothers-in-law Michael and Nicholas Ryan. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her 2 sons: Billy (Margie) and Medie (Mary); 3 daughters: Suzanne Scott, Mary Clarke (fiancé - Dave) with whom she resided and Sharon Hickey; 2 special grandsons: Bobby Scott (Colleen) and Christopher Clarke (fiancé – Nicole); 8 other grandchildren: Janice Ryan (Greg), Billy Ryan (Donna),Cathy Kim Scott, Sharon Lamkin (Cory), Kenny Ryan (Susan), Brenda Tobin (Darren), Medie Ryan (Leona), John Hickey and 12 great grandchildren (especially her two little buddies Reegan and Ryan Scott). She will be sadly missed by her sisters: Veronica Mulcahy and Betty Glynn, brothers: Jerry (Daphne) and Jerome (Theresa) and sister-in-law: Kay Ryan as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews (especially Bobby and Michael Ryan) and many extended family members and friends.Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Sunday and Monday from 10am – 9 pm Mass of the Christian burial to follow at Sts. Peter & Paul R.C. Church on Tuesday, Oct. 9th at 11:00 am Interment in Our Lady of Mount Loretta R.C. Cemetery, Bay Bulls. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Bay Bulls Cemetery Fund.
