Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Saturday, October 6, 2012, Arthur W. Earle of Carbonear, age 82 years. Predeceased by wife: Hazel; sons: William and Kevin; parents: Albert and Jessie; brothers: Clarence, John and Jim; sister: Annie Mutrey; son-in-law: Arthur Osmond. Left to mourn, two daughters: Violet (Jerry) Foley and Elizabeth Earle, both of Carbonear; two sons: Cephas (Joan) and Eric (Kathy), both of Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Marion Earle, Carbonear; eight grandchildren: Chris, Melissa (Herbie), Chad, Samantha (Billy), Tiffany, Paul, Amanda and Nicholas; one great-granddaughter: Emily; three sisters: Stella (Nelson) Taylor, Bristol’s Hope, Dorothy (Patty) Butler and Violet Thomey, both of Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear. Capt. Darin and Major Wendy Boone conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, October 9 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment took place in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. Donations in his memory may be made to the Arthur W. Earle Memorial Fund.
