Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012, Maisie Bright, aged 71 years. Predeceased by her parents, William and Sarah Hoben, brothers Malcolm, Bill (Gladys deceased), David, Archie and Wallace, sisters Sarah Jenkins (Elmo deceased), Rita Lake (Ned deceased) and Flora Bishop (Lloyd deceased); Leaving to mourn loving husband of 46 years, Cecil; sons: William and Eddie (Denise); daughters: Kimberly Johnson (Alan) and Beverley Bailey (Perry); six grandchildren: Melissa, Tyler, Dylan, Justin, Sammy and Brock; two brothers: Clyde Hoben (Jessie) and Eric Hoben (Lulu); two sisters: Ada Tuck (Gerald) and Meta Hibbs (David); sisters-in-law: Bella Hoben and Margaret Hoben; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, October 14th. Funeral service to take place on Monday, October 15th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maisie’s memory may be made to the Dr. H.
