Shirley Gard McFee, 76, of Kensington, passed away peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Oct. 12, 2012. Born in O’Leary, she was the daughter of the late Heber and Sadie (Horne) Gard. She was an employee of McKay’s Dairy Ltd. for 24 years before retiring, and also operated a bed & breakfast in Moncton, N.B. Besides her husband Leon, she is survived by two daughters, Beatrice Zamora-LeBlanc (Clarence) of Moncton, N.B., and Holly MacLeod (Reginald) of Kensington; two stepdaughters, Judy Hawkes (Wayne), Riverview, N.B., Holly McFee (Lorna MacKendric), New Annan; one stepson Allan McFee (Valerie), Berry Mills, N.B. Also survived by four grandsons, Dr. Matthew Zamora, Garrett Zamora, Michael Braam (Rachel), Nick Braam; step-grandchildren Aaron McFee (Tracie), Salisbury, Mitchell McFee (Melanie), Moncton; Ben McFee, Berry Mills; Ryan Hawks (Angela), Riverview, Lisa Hawkes (Matt) Indian Mountain, N.B.; as well as several step-great-grandchildren. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, 7 Sunset Drive, Kensington, for visitation on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Kensington.
