The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton surrounded by her loving family on Saturday October 13, 2012 of Loretta Richard of St. Louis aged 85 years.
Beloved wife of the late Jimmy Richard. Born in DeBlois on December 21, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Ann (Perry) Doucette. Loving mother of Sharon (Billy) Gallant; Laverne (Gerard) Gallant and Donnie Richard all of St. Louis. Dear grandmother to Kim (Curtis) Oliver, Jamie (Lacey), Derek (Lisa), Jeremy (Nikki) and Jenna Gallant and great grandmother to MacKenzie, Ethan and Isaac Oliver, Carlie and Colbie Gallant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Mary Ann, husband Jimmy, brothers and sisters Josephine, Edmond, Alphie, Cyril, Ernest, Freddie, Leo, George, Louise and Wilfred. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 9-10 a.m.
Funeral will be held Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 a.m. Celebrant Rev. Jacques Rigaud. Interment in the church cemetery. Palmer Road CWL members will hold a prayer service Sunday evening at 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
