The death occurred peacefully at the Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, of Paula Mary Frances (nee MacIntyre) Arsenault, formerly of Summerside, aged 79 years. Paula was born on April 2, 1933, in Forest Hills to her late parents Neil and Mary (nee Campbell) MacIntyre. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Arsenault (Snowball) and loving mother of Noreen (John) Johnson of Newfoundland, Brenda (Ken) Kirkwood and Blair (Valerie) all of Dartmouth, N.S. Also lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren: Timothy, Erin, Laura, Stephen, Adam, Angie, Jennifer and one great-grandchild Sophie. Survived by the following brothers and sister: Joe (Alma) MacIntyre of Summerside, George MacIntyre of Toronto, Ont., and Phyllis Goldsmith of Moncton, N.B. Besides her parents and husband, Paula was predeceased by her sisters Matilda DesChene and Roberta MacDonald and brothers-in-law Glenn Goldsmith and Orville MacDonald. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Thursday, Oct. 18, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Donation’s in Paula’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Society of P.E.I. would be greatly appreciated.
