Lauretta MacIntyre
The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on October 16, 2012 of Lauretta MacIntyre of Charlottetown, formerly of Millview, age 88 years.
Wife of Vernon J. MacIntyre (deceased 1976) and Richard Proulx (deceased 2011). Dear mother of Daphne (Shane) Campbell, Stratford; David (Darlene) MacIntyre, Millview; and Dolores MacIntyre, Charlottetown. Stepmother of Dick, Steve, Vicky and Paula, all of the U.S.A. Loving grandmother of Coady (Billie-Jean) Campbell, Shannon (Renard) Campbell, Charmaine Campbell, Jason (Jennifer) MacIntyre, Tanya (Aaron) Park, Cst. Ashlee MacIntyre, A.J. MacIntyre and Chance MacIntyre. Great-grandmother of Flynn and Sloan Campbell, Nicolas Graham, Abigail MacIntyre and Jake and Chloe Park. Also survived by brothers, Kenneth C. MacDonald, Charlottetown, and Lemuel L. MacDonald, Montreal. Predeceased by her foster daughters Jeannie and Mary.
Resting at the Jenkins Funeral Home, Millview. Funeral Friday from St. Joachim's Church, Vernon River with funeral mass at 2 p.m. Visitation Thursday 3 to 8 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
