Passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Oct. 12, 2012, Mr. George B. Ellsworth of Englee, NL, in his 105th year. Left to mourn are his beloved children Nellie (George), Douglas (Jane), Guy (Joy), Dorothy (Charles), Garland (Wanda), and James (Doreen). He will be missed by his 24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren, as well as his brothers Pastor James Ellsworth and Charles W. Ellsworth, and sisters Victoria Compton and Olive Ellsworth. During his life he suffered the loss of his wife Annie and his daughter Georgina, seven brothers and two sisters. Visitation was held at the Faith Pentecostal Church, Englee from where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Henry Sansome officiating. Burial followed the service in the new Pentecostal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
