August 15th, 1977 - October 17th, 2012. Passed away suddenly Edward Francis Murphy, aged 35 years. Predeceased by his mother Genevieve (nee Martin); grandparents: Cyril and Helen Murphy and John and Elizabeth Martin; uncle Jim Murphy; aunt Betty Rogers. Left to mourn his beautiful daughter Genevieve; father Ed Murphy Sr.; step-mother Yvonne; sister Denise Brostowski (Michael, Ian and Jackson); brother Cyril Murphy (Sarah and Benjamin); step-sisters: Kelly Newell, Krista Raymond (Mike, Morgan and Mackenzie), Nancy MacDonald (Joe); also leaving to mourn a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and longtime friend Jerry Knox. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 20th, at 2 p.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Children’s Wish Foundation or charity of one’s choice.
