1937 - 2012
Shirley Agnes Roach of Riverview, NB, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at The Moncton Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Souris, PEI, she was the daughter of late Fee and Genevieve (Paquet) Roach.
A loving mother, caring grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed socializing with her many friends, sewing and using her green thumb in her garden.
Shirley will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Claire Jamieson of Riverview; son, Robert Longaphie of Fredericton; and their father, David Longaphie; sisters, Paula Moore (Gord) of London, ON; Patricia Knowles (David) of Souris, PEI; Diane Burke of Souris, PEI; six brothers, Allen (Betty) of Montague, PEI; Fred (Sylvia) of Oakville, ON; Sandy (Diane) of Toronto, ON; George of Souris, PEI; John (Rita) of St. John’s, NL; Robin (Tammy) of Charlottetown, PEI; two grandchildren, Scott Jamieson (Jessica), Teri-Lyn Allard (Serge); three great-grandchildren, Reese Jamieson, Jack and Ben Allard; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Bobbie and Ted; and a sister, Belle Dingwall.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB (506-869-2007), on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 1-3 p.m.
Donations made to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
