The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, of Nora Edna Gallant, nee Brown, beloved wife of Edward Gallant of Abram-Village at the age of 68. She was born in Nellie Lake, Ont., on July 4, 1944, daughter of the late Golden and Winnifred (Watt) Brown. Besides here husband, she leaves to mourn her son Randy (Jeannette) Gallant and one grandson Darcy. Also her brothers and sisters Arthur, Eva (Bob), Loretta, Orville, June, and Sherman, all from Ontario, and Gordon (Joyce) from N.B. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters in-laws Peter (Donna), Elva (Freddy), Louise, Alice (Pierre), Helen, Lucie (Lucien), Leonce (Nora), Edmond (Angela), Yvonne (Earl) and Sister Anna. She was predeceased by two sisters Linda and Violet and a brother-in-law Bev Malley. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home in Urbainville until Saturday, Oct. 20, then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial donations made in her memory to the Prince County Hospital would be appreciated.
