It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Janette MacDonald on Friday October 19, 2012 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney with her children by her side.
Born in Ontario, she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Hyde) MacDonald.
She is survived by her children, Laurie (Shaun) Carroll, Scott Knox; her granddaughter, Kelsey Carroll; sister, Heather Kingsland as well as her friends at Branch 138, Ashby Legion.
Cremation has taken. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday October 23, 2012 at St. Andrew’s United Church, Sydney with Rev. Stephen Mills officiating.
