Peacefully, at the Hamilton General Hospital on October 19, 2012, in her 100th year.
Beloved wife of the late George (1982). Loving mother of Kenneth Strachan (Jane) and the Rev. Kathryn Strachan. Dear grandmother of Drew (Mary) and George (Sarah). Extra special to her was her great-granddaughter, Sarah.
Mary was born in Framboise, Cape Breton Island and moved to Hamilton where she has lived for 56 years.
Her family will receive friends at the Truscott, Brown & Dwyer Funeral Home, 1309 King St. E. (at the Delta) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the chapel followed by interment in Woodland Cemetery.
