Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, of Lindsay Patrick Bennett of Halifax, aged 52 years. Born in Halifax, son of Patrick and the late Vada (Seaman) Bennett. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 27 years, Donna (MacDougall) Bennett; father, Patrick Bennett; sisters, Rosemary (David Baker) and Cathy (Eddie Brown); mother-in-law, Joan MacDougall; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Brad) West, Ann (Ford) Baker, Pam (Shawn) Currie and his four nephews; 10 nieces; one great-nephew; three great-nieces as well as aunts and uncles Lindsay (Norma) Seaman, Miriam (Art) Lockhart, Carolyn DeRidder and Joy (Lowell) MacEachern. There will be a celebration of Lindsay’s life in the Police Unified Building, 103 Thorne Ave., Burnside, on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m. If so desired contributions to theQEII Foundation in support of Pancreatic Cancer Research may be made through the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington.
