Surrounded by her family, at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 , of "Betty" Elizabeth Margaret Fitzpatrick of O'Leary aged 59, beloved wife of Art Fitzpatrick. Born in Alberton on Sept. 28, 1953, daughter of the late Bradford and Catherine (Cullinan) Bernard. Betty was the cherished mother to Francie Quinn and Derek "Fitz" (Amy) and loving grandmother to Dustin, Marley, Kaylyn Quinn, Isaac and Maddie Fitzpatrick. Dear sister to Michael (Cathy) Bernard, Bonshaw; Harvey (Rosetta) Bernard, Winsloe; Bryan (Marlene) Bernard, Winsloe; Elga (Brian) Thomson, O'Leary; Sandra (Terry) Zinck, Barrington Passage, N.S.; Norma (Stewart) Leclair, Knutsford. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel following visiting hours on Tuesday at 4 p.m. Interment to follow in the Springfield West Baptist Church Cemetery. In memory of Betty, memorials to the Palliative Care Unit of Ccommunity Hospital, O'Leary, would be appreciated.
