It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear son and brother, Ernest (Ernie) Joseph LeBlanc on October 7, 2012 at his home in Vancouver, BC.
Born December 12, 1949 in Springhill, NS, he was a son of Anita LeBlanc, Amherst and the late Abbey LeBlanc.
Ernie had a great love for golfing, sailing and playing cards with his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered for his pleasant caring personality as well as his great sense of humour.
Ernie is survived by his beloved, mother, Anita; companion, Anne Maxwell, Vancouver BC; brothers, Larry (Janie), Kamloops BC, Norman (Marty), Kitchener ON, Abbey, Powell River, BC; sisters, Annette Dugas, Mexico Maine; Edna Wilson and Alice Boss both of Amherst; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Ernie's remains have been cremated and there will be a funeral mass from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Amherst at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012, with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations in Ernie's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
