Gerard Gignac
Suddenly at Charlottetown on Thursday, October 25, 2012, of Mr. Gerard Gignac, formerly of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, and Calgary, Alberta, age 62 years.
Gerard enjoyed being by the water, the people and the peaceful Island way of life in his last years on P.E.I. Beloved husband of Helene (nee Spenard) and dear father of Francois Gignac (Sandra Ham). He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Andre Gignac (Louise Sauvageau dec.), Annette Gignac, Noella Gignac (Roland Cyr), Germain Gignac; brothers and sisters-in-law, Francine Spenard (Jean Diamond), Carole Spenard (Robert Dorval), Jean-Marc Spenard (Carolle Bergeron), Louis Spenard (Kim Girouard); many nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers and fellow students at Holland College.
By personal request there will be no funeral service. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Lung Association. In memory of Gerard it would be his wish if you are able for you to be an organ donor.
Completion of arrangements have been entrusted to the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home.
