Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, October 29, 2012, Jean Tanasychuk (nee Marshall) of Carbonear, age 79 years. Predeceased by husband: Edward; parents: Eugene and Hazel Marshall; sister Mildred Earle. Left to mourn, two sons: Edward, St. John’s and Dennis (Louise) Marshall, Carbonear; two grandchildren: Casey and Taylor; one brother: Wayne (Ella) Marshall, Carbonear; two sisters: Frances Snow and Donna (Fred) Hiscock, both of Freshwater, Carbonear; brother-in-law: William (Audrey) Tanasychuk, Edmonton, AB; sister-in-law: June Wareham, Brampton, ON; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Brian Colbourne conducted the funeral service on Wednesday, October 31 from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Inurnment took place Friday, Nov. 2 at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
