HUDGINS, Alberta Louise -79 of Victoria Vale passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Peabody, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy Averil (Weaver) Spidell. Alberta was a great homemaker and enjoyed baking for family and friends as well as knitting and playing bingo. Alberta was happiest when surrounded by her children both young and old and will be missed by all. She is survived by sons, Frank (Linda), Victoria Vale; twins Douglas (Patricia), Ellershouse; Darrell (Wendy), Victoria Vale; and Ernest, Wilmot; daughter, Mary (Joseph) Schroeder, Coldbrook and daughter in law, Donna. She was especially proud of each of her 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Frederick; son, John and brother, William Spidell. Visitation was held Thursday, November 1, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service was held Friday, November 2, 2012 with Rev. Patty Beals officiating.
