Kiley, Louis John "Lou" – 82, of Saint John, New Brunswick passed away on November 2, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. A son of the late John and Irene (Smith) Kiley, Lou will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Gail, son Michael Kiley (Catherine) and grandsons Devin and Ryan of Stellarton and daughter Luanne Kiley (Bruce Quigley) of Amherst, grandsons David and Brian. Lou will also be missed by sibblings Mary Hickey (Gerard) British Columbia, and Joe Kiley (Betty Anne) of Prince Edward Island. In his younger years he was renowned for his hockey ability and was often described as a "rugged, intense leader". He was elected to the Sporting Halls of Fame in the city of Saint John, the Provincial Hall of Fame in New Brunswick and in Nova Scotia. After a successful hockey career as a young man , Lou entered the world of business and enjoyed further successes as an Automobile dealer, along with several other endeavors. Lou's favourite pastimes were playing golf with his "Buddies" and family along with wintering in Florida.

Following cremation a private memorial service, reception and interment will take place at a later date. Lou's family would like to thank all the healthcare staff who participated so well in his care. Donations to the Palliative Care Unit at the SJRH would be appreciated by the family.
