We sadly announce that James Allan McPherson, 77, of Gander (formerly of Highland's, NL) passed peacefully away at JPMH, Gander on Nov. 8th/12. Predeceased by his parents, John Howard and Elizabeth MacPherson, brothers Donald, Gerald and sister Geraldine. Survived by wife, Doreen (Keats); children: Andrew of Waverly, NS and Kimberly (Gerald) Ivany of Beeton, ON; granddaughter Ashley; four sisters: Barbara of Halifax, NS, Phyllis (Richard) Lamphere and Ann Stromp both of Mi, USA, Mary (Aubrey) Madore, of Highland's, NL and sister-in-law Jean MacPherson also of Highland’s; two brothers: Howard of Richman Hill, ON and Daniel (Madge) of Highland's, NL; nine stepdaughters and four stepsons. Also a great number of relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on November 12, 2012 at 10 AM from St. Columcille Parish at St. Fintan’s, NL. Interment at the cemetery in the Highland’s, NL.
