At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, November 12, 2012, the death occurred of Catherine Raso, age 93 years.
Born in St. Mary's Road, September 20, 1919, she was the wife of the late Bernado Raso and daughter of the late Pat and Maggie May McCarron. She will be sadly missed by her family: Bernadette Hamilton of Ontario, Pauline Campbell of Panmure Island, Michael McCarron of Ontario, Sheila Carscadden of Ontario; her grandchildren, Gary McGee of Ontario and Alan McGee of Vancouver; and her many nieces and nephews. Aside from her husband and parents, Catherine was predeceased by her sisters, Tina Madore, Helan Cohoon, Mammie O'Connor; and brothers, Patty John McCarron and Percy McCarron.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home where visiting will be held Thursday, November 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Church in Sturgeon. Interment will take place in St. Paul's Cemetery.
Memorial donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
