MACDOUGALL BREAU, ELINOR ELAINE – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Elinor Elaine MacDougall Breau which occurred on Thursday, November 15th at Bobby’s Hospice. Born 1933 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Mabel and Frederick Hamilton. Elinor worked for Fairweather Insurance for many years and loved spending time with her twin sister Lois Beck. She was very fashionable and loved her scarfs and she enjoyed spending time with her friends having coffee at the mall. Elinor is survived by her loving husband Jean Paul Breau of 35 years; step-children Claude of Deer Island, Ernest, Suzanne and Pauline Breau all of Saint John; brother Murray Hamilton (June) of Saint John; sister Carol Campbell of Dalhousie, NB; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents, Elinor was predeceased by her infant daughter Bonnie MacDougall; twin sister Lois Beck; sisters Dorothy and Muriel Hamilton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation taking place on Monday, November 19th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 20th at 11 a.m. followed by an interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
