Loanne passed away on November 14, 2012, and on that day Heaven welcomed an angel.

Born in Kamloops on December 2, 1966, Loanne leaves behind her parents Dennis and Beverley; brother Terry (Sharon); sister Denise (Paul); nephew Kurt; niece Bethany; grandma Ada; mom-caregiver Bonnie Parkes (Paul and family); past caregivers Marlene and Bob McLaren; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Loanne is predeceased by her grandparents Jack and Olive Walsh, and Frank Myram.

In 1975, a Kamloops community fundraiser, named "Operation Loanne", took place to help send Loanne for open-heart surgery at the Mayo Clinic. The Lion's Club and Radio NL spearheaded this event, for which the family is forever grateful.

Loanne was a kind, compassionate, and thoughtful little girl who loved people. One of her favorite past times was to color and make drawings for special friends and loved ones. She enjoyed being surrounded by her stuffed animals, dolls and books. She looked forward to shopping days, and getting out for a good cup of coffee. Loanne had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to joke around and laugh with people. She had a strong love for her creator, and this sustained her throughout her surgeries and the many medical procedures she had to endure in her short lifetime.

Loanne will be sadly missed by many, and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Loanne's Life will be held in the Spring of 2013 (to be announced at a later date).
