Gwen Dawson of Montague, age 59, passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, November 19, 2012.
Born in Charlottetown, June 3, 1953, she is the daughter of Harold Alexander “Sandy” and Phyllis Christine (MacLeod) Dawson.
Besides her parents she will be lovingly remembered by her children, Iris Anne (Roy) Harding, William Alexander Douglas Kemp (Natashya); brothers and sisters, Hal (Helen) Dawson, Gail (Mike) Osborne, Karl (Darlene) Dawson, Myrna (Gordie Hovey), Lee (Kelly) Dawson; five cherished grandchildren and one step-grandchild, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home, 902-838-2557, with visiting hours on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Ferguson-Logan Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 22, 2012, at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Uigg Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Gwen’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Uigg Community Cemetery.
