VIBERT, JANICE P. - Janice P. Vibert, 89, passed away at Pine Grove Nursing Home in Fredericton on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Born in Rose Bridge (Gaspe), Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Mabel (Stanley) Simpson. Janice is remembered for her kindness and her care for others. She was a loving mother, home-maker and hostess and also worked at MacLeod’s Save-Easy, Riverview and the Riverview Save-Easy. Janice is survived by son, Reginald Vibert (Susan) of Callander, Ontario; daughter, Mabel Sharpe (Donald) of Mactaquac; son Porteus Vibert (Kenda) of Fredericton; brother, Louis Simpson (Erika) of Kingston, Ontario; grand-children, Shawn Vibert (Angel), Tyler Vibert, Carl Sharpe, Amanda Sharpe, Dylan Vibert and Ryan Vibert; and great-grandchildren, Severin and Sadie Vibert; as well as several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Weston H. Vibert; brother, Arnold Simpson and sisters, Sheila Guignon, Ivy Ramier and Ruby Gray.
Visitation will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Friday November 23, 2012 at 11:00 am with Wayne Hutchison and James Abbott officiating.
