Seretha Mary (Corbin) Prieston - 55, of Wolfville, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville on November 5, 1957, she was a daughter of Sydney Corbin, New Minas and the late Rose (Doucette) Corbin. She enjoyed playing bingo and darts and fishing with her grandchildren. She volunteered with The Friendship Centre in Edson, Alberta and was a member of the Edson Legion. She is survived by her husband, Mark; children, Robin Corbin, Jamie Kelly and Arthur Corbin; siblings, Robert, Douglas, Wayne, Eugene, Cecil and Tina Corbin, Terry Muise, Susan Vinters and Rose Thomson; grandchildren, Dylan, Katelyn, Ryan, Taylor and Tyson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wade Prieston, Hilda Sucre, Lynda Harasyn, Gladys Blais, Elaine Toderencuk and Florian (Myrtle) Morrisseau. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012, Reverend Mary Anne Doherty-Fleet, Chaplain officiating. A private family burial took place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
