Passed peacefully away at Presentation Motherhouse on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her parents Edith (Bavis) and Martin Ryan, sisters Mary (Francis) Maynard, Agatha (Gordon) Starret, Bernadette and Rosemary and brothers Dennis (Joan Carroll), Martin and Leonard. Left to mourn and to celebrate her life are the Presentation Sisters; her brothers: Paul and Dermot (Stella Whyte); special niece Deedy (David d’Entremont) and many devoted nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John’s. Visiting hours on Wednesday, November 21st from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, November 22nd from 10:00 – 12:00; 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.; and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Friday, November 23rd at 9:30 a.m. and interment will be at Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
