At Beach Grove Home on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, of Richard “Dick” Howard, Charlottetown, formerly of Daniel’s Cove and Corner Brook, Newfoundland, age 77 years.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Bette” (nee O’Brien). Loving father of Greg (Susan), Patrick (Joy), Jacquelyn and Jennifer Jeffrey (Joey). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Nick and Will Howard, Chelsea and Thomas Howard, Johannah, Maria and Richard Baird, Claire and Grace Jeffrey. Dear brother of Teresa Howard Lee (Ted, deceased), Ray (Peggy), Angela Broderick (Joe), Pauline Walsh (Walter) and Sheila Hanson (Glenn). Brother-in-law of Mary Howard (Jimmy, deceased), Joan MacKinnon (Doug, deceased), Tom O’Brien (Patricia), John O’Brien and Dan O’Brien.
Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Johanna (Hogan) Howard; by his brothers and sister, Jimmy, Gerald (Clara), Joan Howard; by his parents-in-law, John and Beatrice O’Brien; and by his sister-in-law, Peggy O’Connell (Kevin).
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Friday at 9:45 a.m., then to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Visitation Thursday 4-7 p.m.
