Surrounded in the comfort of her family, Darlene Helen (Batten) Arsenault passed away peacefully at the Montreal Jewish General Hospital on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012. Darlene remained positive and strong throughout her fight with this horrendous disease and we are thankful that she is finally resting in peace. Darlene was survived by her husband Andy of 44 years, daughter Tara (Robert Pike) and son Bryce Arsenault. Her grandchildren: Ashtyn, Mitchell and Kierstyn Palmer. Siblings: Terry Batten (Rose Gentille), Marilyn Patwell (Tommy), Lorraine Ibberson (Jack), Carrie Davis (Clifford) and business partner of 12 years Rocky Arsenault (Lori Lisk). She was predeceased by her grandson Griffin Palmer, niece Elaine Cauchi and herparents David (Albert) Batten and Helen (Boitnott) Batten, all who were waiting for her with open arms. All are welcome to gather with Darlene's family and friends at the Summerside Boy's & Girls Club on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Desired donations can be made in Darlene’s memory to the Boys & Girls Club of Summerside or the Prince County Hospital Auxiliary.
