Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, November 21, 2012, age 94 years. Predeceased by his wife Hilda (Dolly) in 2002. Left with loving and cherished memories daughters: Jacqueline (Wendell Sparkes), Ottawa, Jillian (Lamont Sweet), Stratford, PEI, Selma (Jim Blackwood), Glovertown, Signe (John Kubiseski), Renfrew, ON,; and son John Butt (Lissa) Glovertown; brother and sister-in-law Edgar and Patricia Butt Glovertown; sister-in-law Doris Howse Peterborough, ON; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Patience Butt, brothers and sisters Josephine Paul, Helen (Nelly) Butt, Stewart Butt, Eliza Stead and Alma Butt. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Services at Faith United Church, Glovertown, Friday November 23rd, 2012 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Janeway Children’s Hospital.
