Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 25th, 2012, age 77 years. Predeceased by his parents William and Violet, brother Peter and sister Marion Hickey. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 52 years Alice (Hayward); daughters: Sharon Bonia, Wanda Leclair (Pierre), Belinda Grouchy (Glenn) and Kim Boland (Chris); six grandchildren: Charlotte, John, Athena, Garret, James, Emma, and great-granddaughter Violet; two sisters: Clara Arsenault (Nelson) (PEI), and Madonna Densmore (ON). Also leaving a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, November 27th, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 28 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Portugal Cove.
