It is with great sadness the family of Hugh John (Jack) Smith announce his passing on November 25, 2012 at his home in Pritchard, B.C. Jack was born on December 1, 1947 in Woodstock, N. B.

Jack is survived by his loving wife Denise Ford and devoted children Sean Smith (Selma), Angela Smith (Brian Corey), Dawn Marie Stewart (Ron), Kyle Smith (Carrie), Keeley Peterson (Brendan) and Clayton Smith; grandchildren Scott Stewart, Malcolm and Beckham Smith.

A man of faith and strong work ethic, Jack will be missed by his family and those who knew him. He leaves a trail of memories to be treasured. Jack was avidly involved in the sport of hockey with a coaching career that spanned over 3 decades.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations go to Kidsport; an organization that funds kids to play. www.kidsportcanada.ca
