Charlotte Emily (Foster) Sandham, 97 years, of the Berkley Residence, Bedford, N.S., formerly of Charlottetown, P.E.I., and Vineland, ON, passed away suddenly on Nov. 29, 2012, in the Halifax Infirmary.
Born in St. Catherine’s, ON, to Norman and Gladys Foster in 1915. Predeceased by husband John (2001) of 60 years. Survived by daughter Charlotte (David) Fraser, Bedford; sons Norman (Hilary), Collingwood, ON, Barrie (Judy), Cape Breton Island, N.S., and Ewen (Yvonne), Newmarket, ON; grandchildren Neale, Scott, Julia, Ewen, Flora and John; great-grandchildren Devon and Jacob.
Married for 60 years until John’s death in 2001, Charlotte was a caring wife, a loving mother and a good friend. Although her singing no longer echoes down the hall, there is one more voice in the choir of angels. Sadly missed.
