Passed away peacefully, surrounded by an abundance of love, after a valiant battle with cancer, Diane F. Kieley (Chafe) in her 54th year on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Leonard A. Miller Centre. Diane is predeceased by her parents-in-law, William and Pauline Kieley. She leaves to mourn with broken hearts and treasuring her life, her beloved and dedicated husband, Donny, her precious children: Nicole (Kevin), Ryan (Kim) and Ashley (Phil). Diane referred to her husband and children as her angels, who have surrounded her with constant and unconditional love and attention, especially over this past four months. Diane also leaves to mourn, her parents: John and Irene Chafe; brothers: Terry (Helena), Billy (Janet) Perry and Larry (Karen). Also leaving to mourn are brothers and sisters-in-law: Bernard (Donna), Linda (Harold), Paul (Jean), Marie (Hammy) Regina (Albert), Brenda (Steve) Billy (Carolyn) and Theresa (Fred). Also her special Aunt Kay, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, close friends and co-workers at Health and Community Services. Diane will be resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday, December 4 from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 5 from 12:00 noon - 9:00 p.m. Funeral will take place on Thursday, December 6 from St. Patrick’s Church, St. John’s at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Diane’s memory to the Kidney Foundation. A reception will be held at St. Peter’s Church, Kelly Centre, following the funeral Mass on Thursday.
