We knew that you were going soon
It was a battle you could not fight
But fight you did with all your might
The day was long, then night, then morn
You closed your eyes and you were gone
We kissed you gently and said our good-byes
Our hears were broken, to hear your last sigh
But great memories of you we hold so dear
Your love in our hearts to pass on to our children
We love you, we miss you mom
Our lives will never be the same without you
