Our father was a man who always knew,
That work was something you just had to do,
That to labour and toil and help to provide,
Was a ways and means for a family to survive.

Our father was a man who always made sure,
His children had less burdens than he to endure,
And if the cost of that choice was often high,
He would sacrifice himself so we could get by.

Our father was a man who loved strong and true,
His family and friends returned that love too,
We often look back and remember him well,
And smile at his memory at the stories he’d tell.

Our father was a man who knew right from wrong,
And he walked that path though it could often be long,
He took pride in his family, the achievements we earned,
Unaware of his guidance in many lessons we'd learned.

Our father was a man we will always remember,
Born of this world on the 7th of December,
In our hearts we know he did the best he could,
And we remember the Man in the light that we should.

Ever remembered and lovingly missed, Maxine, Melvin, Linda, Lloyd, Randy, Mae, Debbie, Gael, Bonnie, Craig and their Families.
