Lisa Verstichelen

VERSTICHELEN, Lisa Marie – 51, of South Farmington, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of Mary (Whitman) White, Nictaux and the late Donald White. Lisa was employed with Green Diamond Equipment as a Service Writer. Lisa was a warm, giving, and loving woman who touched many lives along her journey. She loved her family more than anything in this world, was extremely proud of her daughters Natalie and Nicole, and spent most of her free time taking care of others before self. She loved shopping, spending time with her dog Ozzie, snapping pictures to scrapbook with her "scrapper" friends, attending her kids' sporting events, and having a splash of wine after nine. We all miss her greatly, but find solace in the following quote, "don't cry because it's over, smile, because it happened". She is survived by her husband, Alain; daughters, Natalie and Nicole, all of South Farmington; sister, Linda (Dan) Holloway, Greenwood and brother, Ron White, Lawrencetown. Cremation has taken place. A Ceremony of Life Service will be held 2:00 to 5:00PM Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Falcourt Inn, Nictaux. Lisa's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton for all the care and comfort they provided Lisa. Donations in memory may be made to the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton or to the Canadian Cancer Society Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448. Online guest book may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
