It's been four long years since you left us,
And we are left with a hole in our hearts,
But one day we will all be together,
Never again to part.
You were always there when we needed you,
No task too great, or small,
With loving heart and willing hand,
For us you did them all.
Your golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
Thanks for the years you gave us,
And the good times that we shared,
We pray that when you left us,
You knew how much we cared.
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you will remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives,
Until we meet again.
