McNutt, Doreen Ruth (1940-2012) – Truro. It is with great sadness, that the family of Doreen Ruth McNutt, announces her peaceful passing at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the age of 72. She was a long- time resident of Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Young Street, Truro.

She is survived by sisters, Helen (John) Bartlett, Bible Hill, Eileen Graham, Truro, Marion (Wesley) Blair, Bible Hill and a brother Ralph (Melitta) McNutt (Bible Hill) and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by both parents Clarence and Blanche (Lynds) McNutt and a sister Greta in infancy.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will take place in the spring in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. Donations in Doreen’s memory may be made to Cedarstone Activities Department or to a charity of your choice.
