We are saddened to announce the passing of Margaret Martell on Dec. 24, 2012, at the Miner’s Lane, Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility, Sydney.
Born in Whitney Pier, she was the daughter of the late George and Katie (Lamont) Martell.
She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Margaret is survived by her sister, Betty Glushko, Philadelphia; sister-in-law, Yvonne Martell, Sydney; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Phyllis Martell, and two brothers, Roy and Lamont Martell.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service as per her wishes.
A private prayer at the gravesite will be held at a later date.
