CLAIRMONT, Cecile Emily – 89, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2012 in the home. Born August 3, 1923 in Pubnico, she was a daughter of the late Melbourne and Laurianne (d’Eon) d’Entremont. Cecile worked at Cosmos Imperial Mills/Dominion Textiles as well as at Alwood Products, both in Yarmouth. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Branch No. 61, Yarmouth. She is survived by her children, Verna (Kanud) Jespersen, Terracotta, ON; Dennis (Sandra) Clairmont, Plymouth; Paul Clairmont, Forbes Point, Shelburne Co.; Charmaine (Gilbert) Muise, Arcadia; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, as well as by a brother, Richard d’Entremont, Ontario. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Clairmont; a son, Alexander Clairmont; a grandson, Donald Muise; sister, Therese d’Eon; brothers, Joseph, Basil, Louis, Adrian and Sylvain d’Entremont. Visitation took place from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday with a Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary service at 7:30, followed by prayers at 8 p.m., all at the H. M. Huskilson Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 26 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Melbourne, Father Maurice LeBlanc officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
