Passed peacefully away at The Glenbrook Lodge on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, Rita Sturge (nee Boone), age 82 years. Predeceased by her parents: Herbert and Isabelle Boone; twin sister Ida; and sister Mary Noseworthy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Charles; two sons: Wayne (Linda) and Derrick (Gennie Rose); grandchildren: Lori Piercey (Jeff), Trevor Sturge (Christine) and Jason Sturge; great-grandchildren: Luke, Callie, Logan and Austin; daughter-in-law Jackie; sisters: Betty Thorne (Dave) of London, ON and Edith Hillier; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. and then on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service to be held from The Salvation Army Citadel on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road. No flowers by request.
