Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on 23 December 2012 at 85 years. Predeceased by husbands: Jack Walsh, Ed Reid and son John Walsh. Leaving to mourn son Ed Walsh (Brenda) Nova Scotia; daughter Sheila Hayes (Mick) Portugal Cove; and daughter-in-law Sandra Walsh, Ontario. Sisters: Mary Hammond, St. John's and Helen Galway, California. Grandchildren: Tahirih, Jasmine, Matthew, Emily and Hilary Walsh, and Sean and Colin Hayes. Great-grandchildren: Astrid Petrunia and Kai Walsh. Sisters-in law: Breda Collins, Mary Soik, Veronica Hillier (Dave), and Bernadette Blair. Brothers-in-law: Mike and Pat Walsh, and numerous nieces and nephews. At mom's request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at a later date. As expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Torbay Volunteer Fire Department or St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation.
