Peacefully, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Thursday, December 27, 2012, of Evelyn Theresa Murphy (nee Conohan) of New Dominion, formerly of Morell, in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Ernest Murphy. Loving mother of Kaye (Doug) MacEwen, Elliot Lake; Jim (Peggy) Murphy, Charlottetown; Glen (Lynn) Murphy, Toronto; Brenda (Mike) Houston, New Dominion; Patti (Kevin) Sentner, New Dominion. Loving grandmother of Denise MacEwen Williamson, Darlene MacEwen Freitas, Michelle Murphy MacDonald, Jamie Murphy, Rebecca Murphy, David Murphy, Christopher Murphy, Kate Huston, Kirsten Sentner, Michaela Sentner and Hannah Sentner. Loving great-grandmother of Colin Williamson, Patrick Williamson, Andrew Freitas and Ben MacDonald. Also survived by siblings Danny (Estelle) Conohan, Montreal; Louise Nolan, West St. Peters; Isabelle Bamberick, Charlottetown; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Emmett and Sheila Murphy, Bernie Murphy, Vernita and Sinnott Mullally, and Jody Murphy.
Predeceased by her parents, Gertrude (LaPierre) Conohan and James Conohan; her brother, Norman Conohan; and her infant daughter, Audrey.
Resting at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church Lounge, Morell, for visitation on Sunday, December 30, 2012, from 6-9 p.m. only. Funeral mass to be held at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, Monday, December 31, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
