Passed peacefully away at St Clares Mercy Hospital on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at age 79. Predeceased by her parents Thomas & Janet Stone and her brother William (Shirley) Stone. Leaving to mourn her husband Edward; son John (Darlene); daughter Nancy (Winston) Simms; grandchildren: Anna-Dawn, Amanda, Justin, Aaron, Tyler, McKenzie, and Geoffrey; great-grandson Johnny; sister Louise (Cron) Lynch; brother Harold (Doreen) Stone; sister-in-law Effie (Earl) Jennings; also large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
