September 14, 1938 - December 31, 2012. Passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, December 31, 2012, Wallace Raymond Butt of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 74 years. Wallace was the son of Cecil and Nellie V. Butt. Leaving to mourn, two sisters: Lorraine (Calvin deceased) Chaulk, St. John’s and Yvonne (Charles) Pelley, Kingston, ON; three brothers: Harold (Nina), Grand Falls-Windsor, Douglas (Yvonne), Norman’s Cove and Bruce, St. John’s; nieces: Melanie (Ian) McLeod, Paradise, Michelle (Brian) Newby, Toronto, ON, Christina (Shawn) Osmond, Grand Falls-Windsor, Heather (Cory) Kelly, Victoria, Susan (Glenn) Randell, Saskatoon, SK, Jennifer Pelley (Neil Robitaille), Ottawa, ON and Karen (Leo) Grepin, Roxbury, CT; nephews: Bruce (Elaine) Chaulk and Stephen (Michelle) Butt, both of St. John’s, David (Suzanne) Butt, Ottawa, ON and Andrew (Maya) Pelley, Toronto, ON; a number of grandnieces, grandnephews and also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, January 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, January 2 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, January 3 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, January 3 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear.
