Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 31st, 2012 at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by his parents: James and Mary Ann; brothers: Alec, Jack, Will, Jim, and Gus; sisters: Rita, Isabelle and Kate. Leaving to mourn his brother Joe (Marie), NL; sister Mary Bordigan (USA); sister-in-law Margaret Lacey and special friend Mary Nolan. Also leaving to mourn his special nephew Bill and many more nephews; nieces and friends. Special thank you to the staff at Hoyles-Escasoni Home and the Agnes Pratt Nursing Homes for their professional care and compassion. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Wednesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., and Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 4th, 2013 at 1 p.m. from Holy Trinity Parish, Torbay. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
