BRIGGS, HILLIS - Mr. Hillis A. Briggs of Carsonville passed away on January 1, 2013 at the age of 73. Hillis is survived by his wife Marlene, four daughters: Janice Baines (Phillip), Susan Briggs, Sherri Craft (Blair), Diana Briggs (Martin Cook); two sisters: Elizabeth Reidle, Marion Fenton (Bob Isner); two brothers: Doug Briggs and Richard Briggs; his sister-in-law: Anne Briggs, grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Hillis is predeceased by his daughter Carolyn, his grandson Alex Cook, his brother Arthur, his sisters-in-law, Gail Briggs and Cora McMillan Briggs, and by two brothers-in-law Burton Reidle and Bernie Fenton.
Arrangements ware entrusted to the care Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A service celebrating Hillis’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, January 4th, 2013 at 3:00 pm. There will be a time of fellowship with the family at the Berwick Rec.
